is harmony truly overrated?

harmony: the quest for companionship? do you agree with that sort of definition? of course, there are many different meanings to the word, but isn’t harmony fundamentally about companionship?

if two tones are in perfect harmony, they do have a beautifully matching relationship between them

if two colours are in harmony, they are soothing to the eyes and won’t be a cause for an eyesore

if two flavours are in harmony, they make for a great taste

if two textures are in harmony, they make for a great piece of fabric

if two people are in harmony, they make for a great companionship

but what worth is the world if all that we look for is the equilibrium point of harmony?

i sometimes find myself subconsciously veering from the well earned harmonious state by doing something irrational and sometimes immoral, but there are no regrets whatsoever in those ventures. do you ever find yourself doing things like that?

maybe this is the second law of thermodynamics proven. haha that everything tends to a greater state of chaos.

life is about experiences i guess… though there are those that argue that life is about achievement, happiness, enjoyment……

but maybe we would like to experience all, and thats why harmony alone does not satisfy my immense greed for experience

it is some sort of a satisficing of life!
